Ok, so I had this great idea that during lockdown I’d lose about two stone. Then when we all re-emerge from our homes I’d walk back into the office and it would be like a scene from a movie. Bitchy work colleagues would stare open-mouthed as I’d glide, with my new slimmer figure, past their desks. The blokes, who normally act like I’m invisible, would choke on their morning coffees. I’d somehow have money to buy a whole new ultra-fashionable wardrobe and I’d look amazing. Reality - I’m a junk food, cake eating, cocktail mixing lump that thinks walking to the shops to buy chocolate is a form of exercise. I’d lost a stone before lockdown and I’ve been yo-yoing four pounds on and four pounds off so not put loads on - enough is enough though. I need to lose 4.5 stone to get a healthy BMI reading! I’m gonna do the Sunday morning weigh in I think. Anyone else do that weigh in?

Losing it in lockdown
Hi there, I have just joined and new to navigating the site. I am exactley the same. My Bmi has given me a huge shock and I am totally motivated to loose a similar weight. I may find a Saturday weigh in. We can only help ourselves and I am confident with this forum we can do it.
Hello Smartie83 and welcome to you !

....it can take a bit to learn how to find one's way around so please read the material carefully and also note, don't use the HU App, it is much easier to use the website.
As explained above, we recommend that members join a Weekly Weigh-In, on the day of your choice, and also use the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans and get useful feedback. They are found under Pinned Posts (go back to the link I gave you above)
A special feature of our Forum is the degree of support between members which you will experience (and add to yourself !) as you join in and chat with others.
All the best on your weight-loss journey ! 😊

Hi Canary Fairy
Your post is hilarious, I am sure you are writing about me! I have no willpower at all so I just dont buy bad foods anymore. If I have a sweet craving then I have a sugar free sweet... boring yes but it works for me.
Counting calories has opened my eyes to just how many cals I was consuming. It was difficult at the start working out what cals were in what but after 3 weeks its become a bit of a game... I started measuring myself (not weighing) last Sunday. Im quite pleased with todays results.
Make a plan thats going to work for you
I can recommend the Sunday weigh in. They're a brilliant team, you'll get fabulous support and all that's asked in return is that you say something supportive to at least three others.
Good luck, you'll soon be shimmying back to that office
