Hello guys, I'm starting my 12 week plan on Monday! I currently weigh 11st13lb. After dieting at home for the past 2 months I have already lost around 9lb! I'm looking at being around 10 stone for my holiday at the beginning of August!

The 12 week plan is brilliant, I use MyFitnessPal alongside it to count calories ... I've found it really helpful with portion control too! Good luck on your journey πΈ
Hi well done and good luck for Monday. This coming Monday will be my first weigh in day, so far so good so I'm hoping for a good loss especially as it's the first week. I have found the plan really easy and even managed coffee without cake today. The support on here is great I'm sure you will do well π
You've made a good start on your own so should find it easier with the 12wk plan. I'm 11st 6lbs and if I lose a stone by Christmas I'll be pleased. My diets used to last a day but I'm still here after nearly a month. I've lost 4lbs so far and I'm happy as I know if I take it off too fast then I'll just put it back again. Do what works for you and really go for it.
Hi Charlouxo, welcome to the forum. You chose right. I find by immersing myself in the plan I am very focused. Your lifestyle will change for the better. You have decided to do it so you are half way there. Good on you. Be proud of yourself.
Hi, i'm starting my 12 week plan on Monday too. I also weigh 11st 12 and would love to get to 10st by my 50th on the 29th July. You've had a good start already you must feel so proud of yourself Here goes to the next 12 weeks..
Hi, you sound exactly like me last year. I weighed myself on 10 April 2014 at 11st 13lbs. For the past month Ive been maintaining at 10st. My bmi is now 23. I achieved this slowly, calorie counting 1300cals and using myfitnesspal app, and walking more. It has been a slow but steady loss without ever feeling hungry or deprived. I had four holidays including a 2wk inclusive cruise, still socialised and had wine , treats etc ..not every day but twice a week. Mu approach was more healthy eating but not to ban anything, just have less of those. For me it was also important not to be obsessive and alienate my partner or friends ( thats a common issue that can make people give up) . Bu August I got to 10st 12 and it then took me four months to lose the final 12lbs. But everyone is different. Good luck , keep us posted! π
What a fantastic,realistic, up lifting, motivating tale! Everything you say not only makes perfect sense but it is proven to be effective. You have not deprived yourself of anything and therefore do not crave even more. Brilliant, thank you for sharing. I hope your words have inspired others the way they have inspired me. Absolutely my pleasure! I gained my weight over a 20 year period, but tried to ignore it . Only when I hit 61 did I "wake up" .
