Hello everyone - hope you have had a good week this week! I thought mine had been quite good in terms of sticking to my exercise and eating goals, but I've only lost 0.2 pounds (i.e. 200 grams!) However, I did have quite a heavy meal last night, so I am wondering if I might lose a bit more tomorrow. Anyway, it is how it is, and I am pleased that it's a loss. I am currently 14 stone 1.8 pounds, and I am hoping to be below 14 stone by next week. That particular goal seems a LONG time coming, but I am hoping to persevere and get there in the end...

At least you have gone down and I am sure the meal last night would have played a big part. Well done and I am sure you will reach your next goal in a week - any treats planned?
I am smiling this morning - 7 lbs in 2 weeks, 2 1/2 inches from the stomach. Not quite sure why it is such a big loss - perhaps I will pay for it next week. I did a lot of walking whilst I was away and also was very careful with what I had to eat. This means I have gone under the 15 st mark (just!) Thinking back to 13 months ago - I was nearly 2 stone heavier, gradually lost weight before finding this site but the majority has been using NHS Choices and Health Unlocked.
So, it does work - especially with the support of fellow healthy eaters. To try to inspire others - I've done a 45 minute walk this morning, now must get to work.
Hope you enjoyed your walk this morning - that is certainly an inspirational start to the day. Wow, you lost 7lb in 2 weeks, that's amazing... Congratulations on getting under the 15 stone mark. Hope you have a great week this week, and thanks for your encouragement as well.
I am hoping to have a meal out this week at some point, so will no doubt have a treat then - but hopefully nothing too unhealthy!
Hi Lowcal and Bispers, I find your comment inspiring, I have also lost 400 grams this week, which is very good for me, as I have athryroid problem, have used the meal planner in NHS Choises which is very helpful, I am due to to weigh myself again on Wednesday, also my local work chemist has agreed to let me weigh myself every week.
This is week 11 of the 12 week weight loss plan I have lost 6 and a half pounds. I am quite pleased with that but I know I could have done better! I have slipped back to snacking mode very easily and not sticking to the 1400 cals a day. But now I have confessed I hope next weeks weigh in will be better.
I think you've done really well - that's a good weight loss over that period of time. I agree that it's difficult to keep the calories below a certain amount - I rarely manage it.

I've lost a pound and am now at maintenance weight (always struggle with this).
Hi all slow and steady like many this week 11.7 today, quite okay with that, not going for a loss this week as I have 3 meals out so maintenance for me again this week or maybe a pound loss, unfortunately tis weeks activities also impact on my classes and some of my spin classes also cancelled I replaced one today with body jam but that does not have the calorie burn.....
