I have tried hard this week to stick to my goals, eating healthily and exercising regularly, but I have put on 0.6 pounds, so currently weigh 14 stone 2.0 pounds. I am disappointed by that, but at the same time I know I lost quite a substantial amount of weight the previous week, so I know that I just need to 'hang in there' and continue with my resolve, and hopefully next Monday I will reap the rewards of that! Let's hope so...!
Good luck to everyone this week, and I hope you all have a positive week.
Best wishes,
Lowcal

Hi Lowcal, I've not managed to get to the site for the last couple of weeks...however since last logging in I've kept the 1lb off I previously lost and today have lost one more!! Woohoo. This is painfully slow but I'm keeping at it. I have noticed a change in my body shape with the increased exercise and I'm still positive that the weight-loss will follow.
Don't be disheartened with your little gain. You know what's required for a 'good week' make it happen and I look forward to hearing about it next week best wishes supasister1
Congratulations on your weight loss - you've done really well. Thanks for the encouragement, and I'll do my best to stick with my goals, and like you say - hopefully it will be a loss next week.
Great to hear your body shape is changing with your increased exercise, and keep up the good work!
I started the 122 week programme a little while ago and got to week 4 before slipping up and getting tied up with work. My weigh in this morning showed that I had put back on the 5lbs that I had lost previously, so I'm back at my starting weight which is a shocking 16st 10lb. But, getting back on here, facing up to reality, has given me a jolt to hop back on. It's the summer holidays so I have 5 weeks to seriously get started and get as much exercise in as possible. I have a couch to 5k app, MyFitnessPal, and a bike which is getting dusted down tomorrow.
Well done on all that you have achieved so far. In my experience, there are good weeks and bad week. I tend to have 3 good and 1 bad!
Here's to next week and us achieving great things!
Oooh that's a good reminder the couch to 5k app. I downloaded it a few weeks ago and haven't given it a go yet! I'm going away with my sisters at the weekend and have been instructed to bring my trainers - yikes! I think I'll take the app along and we can make a start...see you on the C25K blog as well. Good luck this week
Yes, the Summer holidays will be a great opportunity to get started again - and you sound positive which is a big part of it - I know you are getting your bike dusted down, so I hope you have some great rides this week, and your running will be a great help as well. I try to run (on the treadmill) about 3 times a week, and run between 3km and 5km, depending on how I'm feeling.
Best of luck this week - we will hopefully see some results.
Oh dear i am very late this week my Monday weight was 11st 8 so a bit stuck really I am on maintanance for the next couple of weeks though - would like to have reached my goal by the end of the month August that is
