Hello everyone,

I am 22 years old and I have been struggling with pcos for years. I have recently began keto diet, in recent years I have always been into exercising and taking supplements as well as herbal teas, however, I dont see any change..

Any advice on what I could do or try would be brilliant.

Many thanks

Hi I am 61, so I have struggled with symptoms for decades. Without wanting to put too much of a downer on things , unfortunately you have a long battle ahead. Don't consider it a diet it is a way of eating for life. Try not to drink calories. Don't be afraid of saturated fats, butter, lard and beef tallow/dripping. Exercise does not need to be vigorous. Try and move every day just walking, and add slow weighted exercise a couple of times a week as well. Cortisol is raised with vigorous exercise, and is not good for insulin resistance, as this tells your body to retain fat. Try to keep stress as low as possible. Make sure your vitamin D level is checked, and you may want to take a supplement to keep it optimal. Iodine is also an essential nutrient. Have a look at some interesting content on youtube etc. I wish you all the best on your journey.
