I am writing for some advice on managing ovarian cyst pain and PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016 and had a laparoscopy in 2019 where nothing was found. I was still experiencing frequent need to urinate, abdominal pressure, irregular frequent bleeding, mood swings, back ache, pain and headaches. I have since had an ultrasound which has shown I have a left ovarian cyst. I signed the paperwork for a laparoscopy and surgery to deal with any endometriosis in February 2023. I am just waiting for the operation to deal with the cyst and any endo.
Does any one have any ideas for managing pain / weight / how I am feeling in the meantime?
In particular, I am interested in anything that you have found to help the pain. I have a tens machine and I did have a heat machine but I need a new one, if anyone has any recommendations please do let me know.
Thanks for any help you can give me!

I Hope your surgery went well and I’d by grateful if you could share how you feel post surgery. The back pains and the tiredness is overwhelming! Sometimes I feel like taking my life if I have to go through all this pain all the time !
I am so sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, my surgery a false passage was made and it did not go well. My ovarian cyst was not removed for some bizarre reason. I began to be sick / have loose bowels following the operation and this has continued since with daily vomiting and issues with my loose bowels. I have now spent 3 days and NYE in hospital to deal with a bowel blockage and i have constant chronic back pain, hip pain, stomach pain, leg pain, and generally fatigued and unwell constantly. I have had soooo much time off work too! I have surgery with a specialist this month and I am praying it goes well x
