My 16 year old is so down with her hirsutism is heartbreaking. NHS are not afdressing the underlyinv issue,

It is all hormonal, hormonal based nutritioni is ultimately the way to go I think but costs too much by and independent nutritionist. NHS knows very little about nutrition so quick to prescribe meds that cause long term damage. I think an holistic approach would be much better. I've been following Pippa Campbell health on Instagram, she talks about HRT but cover womens health. The Dutch hormone test should be done by the NHS as it can detect what your organs are producing and secreting, over a 2 wk period. Blood tests are, just that moment in time. Hormone imbalances and gut biome are key to rebalanced but it's a long process, we can all heal with the right food but we need to change how we feed ourselves because we're all so different one size fits all approaches don't work. I just want to know if someone has had any luck with NHS in getting alternative approaches. I just don't want her to be given metformin at an early age.
