hello .

i have had PCOS for the longest of time. Bled for 2yrs and was able to be managed by my doctor with hyponid and duphstaphon- a progesterone drug. I moved and got a new Gp and have been bleeding for 7months non stop. All medications and pills prove abortive. I’m having really dark inner tigh and underarm and my body is changing before my eyes. Can anyone suggest what I can use to clear these dark areas because they’re awful.

mad for bleeding, I was taking to A&E one of the days I almost passed out and was given northisterone. It works magic. My bleeding stop but for long term, I’ll be getting a marena coil.

Hi

To either remove or improve Acanthosis Nigricans it requires treatment to improve insulin resistance. I don't know whether you are overweight, but even losing weight can help.

I am 59 and also have it. I have lost just over a stone in weight since the turn of the year and believe there has been some improvement.

I am also taking Metformin and self medicating with a supplement called Myo Inositol.

Berberine is also recommended for reducing insulin resistance. Its a natural alternative to Metformin, which has more side affects. I haven't tried it yet, but is on my list.

Hope this helps.
