Im 30 years old with a 8 year old and a 2 year old I’ve been having problems for the last 6 years with bleeding in between periods I have been to the doctors 3 years ago and they sent me for a ultrasound which showed a few cysts free fluid and uterine polyp nothing got done as I fell pregnant with my youngest Symptoms subsided during pregnancy and for the last 2 years but 5 months symptoms have reappeared with bleeding in between periods again and now I’m getting hair loss and hair growing on my chin and neck which I’ve had to start plucking as it’s very embarrassing not sure if these are symptoms of poly cystic ovaries or something else. My cycle length has always been erratic every since my teens they anything between 30 and 42 days

I'm 31 and been diagnosed with pcos. Facial hair is a symptom of pcos I've got it really bad on my neck but I mad the stupid mistake of shaving and not plucking.

Could you not go to your gp and have a chat and just explain that all your symptoms have come back and see if there is anything they can give you. I'm currently taking metformin as me and my hubby ttc and this is meant to help

Thanks for you reply I’ve got a telephone appointment Tuesday as they won’t let me go to the surgery due to the coronavirus. Yes I’ve heard metformin is supposed to help. Did you get any other symptoms apart from the unwanted hair.

Mines the same literally all over the place there’s no pattern at all. We struggled getting pregnant with my 2nd daughter went doctors but they wasn’t really interested told me to go home and loose some weight I went from 13.5 stone to 10.4 then fell pregnant things have been good till last 5 months just hope there going to listen to me this time and stop fobbing me off. Thinking apart asking for the Depo injection I don’t no if that’s going to make things worse for me can’t go on like this no more :( X

I struggled to get pregnant with my lb took up 5 years tc as I kept getting fobbed off do I feel you there. I've never had the injection so i couldn't say if it will make things worse or not I started taking the mini pill last year but that never agreed with me. Dont give up with them just keep on there case till you get something sorted. It ain't a nice thing to have that's for sure x
