My gync has put me on the list for an endometrial ablation sometime in the next few weeks due to heavy prolonged periods and bleeding that's not stopping .... but she hasn't checked me out for any possible issues like ( fibriods, polps ) etc?! I do have PCOS and have always suffered with my periods that always last for 2+ a month but I'm just abit scared about the ablation as I don't know if it will resolve the problem with heavy bleeding and my mind is just over thinking it might make it all worse afterwards....... also to add does my gync have to check me out first before doing the ablation? If so she hasn't mentioned anything apart from that which does worry me alot!
I hope someone can shed some light and reassurance 🙏 as I feel I'm going out my mind esp atm with heavy bleeding non stop for 17 days 😢 due to norethisterone failing to work this time round!

I recommend getting your HBA1C , your thyroid hormones , your sex hormones and your pituitary gland hormones tested I also highly recommend trying to combat your pcos naturally by taking Myo and D chiro powder twice a day with a meal (breakfast and dinner) and going on a keto type diet - no refined sugar , lowering carbs ( any carbs you have make sure there gluten free) have good fats , vegetables and protein with every meal . This should have a positive effect on your period as well as any other symptoms. It completely did the trick for me and my period and anyone whom has tried this. You can buy Myo and D chiro powder at Freak Athletics and by searching for freak athletics Myo and D chiro powder on Amazon . Myo and D chiro is the holy grail of pcos supplements , anyone who uses it will say so. I hope this helps , please listen and try this soon , it would be the best thing you will do x
