headaches #4
He told me to stop taking amitripaline, and instead added
tizanidine
for reducing spasms at night and meloxicam for reducing inflammation in the morning. He asked why I hadn’t been using ibuprofen or Aleve. I reminded him I used to have bad gastritis and was told not to.

I am set for a nerve test (dreaded: I had one is 2016) very soon, yet she took me away from the methadone and prescribed
Tizanidine
to combat the nighttime movement. I am very early into this stage, but I finally am able to have what I know is the disorder I knew that has rocked me for many years.

Hello, I’m new to this community as my husband was recently diagnosed with MS.
Went to a pain doctor who is trying to get him to swap from Baclofen to
Tizanidine
, which it took him months to adjust to. He also added gabapentin for nerve pain and has lost all his energy and joy! Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you.

Now I take 1
Tizanidine
at bedtime. I also have a small notebook I keep next to all the muscle-relaxing pills and log in what I take to make sure I never overdose on muscle relaxing drugs again! (Your heart is the biggest muscle in your body; be careful!)

Tizanidine
I have been taking 1 mg of
Tizanidine
at bedtime for several years now. I don't think it is part of the augmentation issue for me (but want to make sure) and wondered if a higher dose might help me get through my withdrawal from Requip.

Best docs in US
I'm now taking trazodone,
tizanidine
, pramapexole and gabapentin. I don't want to take all these meds and have read the danger in taking some of these meds. My sleep only gets worse. I live in Seattle, WA USA. I'm thinking of seeking help from either one of the Mayo Clinics or Dr.

pain killers
Hi , I’m on Edoxaban 60 mg daily for stroke risk after 2 ablations . I’ve just pulled my back lifting a heavy box and although I’m not incapacitated I’m getting a lot of pain bending so trying to rest but with three young dogs to exercise I need to be active . I’m visiting my GP next week to discuss

PPMS - hand stiffness
Ocrevus, baclofen,
tizanidine
, Lyrica which produces some relief however, I have continued to decline in my function. The stiffness and curling/balling up in my hands is the real issue, does anyone know of any drug therapies (not that I trust big Pharma) that produce any relief? Many thanks!

PPI's
Re PPIs : I was on Omeprazole and Lansoprazole for many years .I developed polyps of the bowel which were removed and non cancerous but it was mentioned to me that it may have been due to overuse of PPI's ? I stopped them and went on to Ranitidine but that was taken off the market suddenly due to scares

Stopped PPI's a Week Ago - Advice for Moving Forward Please
Hi all I have been on PPI's for circa thirty years. They did a fantastic job - so much so that if my GP had suggested stopping I would have resisted strongly, they seemed the perfect drug for me. I have had some heart issues with an ablation about 18 months ago which didn't go well - another story, it's

non-Parkinson' drug for dystonia?
Has anyone had experience with Baclafen,
Tizanidine
or diazepam for dystonia? Apparently these three are drugs for non-Parkinson's dystonia. I wonder if they might be an alternative to Neupro patches?

What medicines do you all take for fatigue and spasticity?
Last time I mentioned my leg and he prescribed
Tizanidine
. I can’t really say it makes much difference. Then I mentioned my fatigue, he showed me the door.

Difficulty getting prescribed H2 Blockers.
I was prescribed Ranitidine when I was discharged from hospital last January 2020. This was then withdrawn and since, my pharmacy has not been able to obtain the substitutes which the doctors have subsequently prescribed:- famotidine, cimetidine and nizatidine. Does anyone know if these are now available
