I was going to do test before seeing Endo but ended up in hospital before appointment so did it once I got out and after appointment. I have another appointment next Thursday. .

I’ve been struggling with fatigue and brain fog night sweats , hot flushes to name but a few .

I’ve addressed my iron and vitamin levels as they were low . Taken gluten out of my diet which helped my stomach issues .

My results are as follows January 2025

TSH 2.93. - (0.27-4.2) my normal range is usually under 0

T4 18.6 (12-22)

T3 3.7 (3.1-6.8) my T3 is normally low in range

they ride peroxidase 182 (0-34)

Thyroglobulin 24.5 (0-115)

ferritin 117 (30-264)

Vit b12 150 active I have injection as I’ve got PA

Vit D 103

CRP 8.49 (<3)

Can anyone see anything I can discuss with endo at appointment next week . He said he was going to do cortisol test and get another scan on my neck due to enlarged lymph nodes . Also get advise from gynaecology for HRT as I’ve got endometriosis and last time went on it I wasn’t well .and started bleeding again .

thank you

In your shoes I would want to add some T3 to your thyroid hormone dose. Low T3 causes many of us to feel appalling.

If your doctor says yes to T3 be aware that they might want to reduce your T4 dose. This sometimes backfires because taking T3 can sometimes reduce the level of T4 without any change of dose in your Levo.

It is quite common for doctors to reduce Levo dose to 50mcg when prescribing a miniscule dose of T3, and if/when it makes you feel worse it is because they have reduced the Levo dose unnecessarily and have substituted too small a dose of T3. But they use it as evidence that you don't need T3 and stop prescribing the tiny dose. It's a con trick on the patient, in my opinion.

Thank you for your reply if I ask for T3 I will request staying on same dose of levo as it’s best to only change one thing at a time , . The endo is on thyroid list but has only been know to prescribe Amour . He did say last time he didn’t think it was thyroid related , there are other autoimmune problems and I already have 2 🫣 . Fingers crossed for next week
