Medicheck bloods - some advice please?

Hello everyone, took the suggestion of this wonderful group and got some private bloods done before my next gp review . The online gp stated that my thyroxine dose of 50 mcg were working well for me and vits were excellent. That’s doesn’t really match how I feel day to day although much better than before . A second opinion please would be really appreciated. No folate due to a sample error.

CRP 0.214 mg/l (range <3)

Ferritin 130 if/l (range 30-264)

Vit B12 -active 94.4 pmol /l (range >37.5)

Vit D 78.6 (range 50-250)

TSH 2.230mIU/l (range 0.27-4.2)

Free T3 3.9 pmol/l (range 3.1-6.8)

Free Thyroxine 15.8 pmol/L (range 12-22)

Thyroglobulin antibodies 274.00kIU/l (range 0-115)

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 283.0kIU/l (range 0.34 )

Bloods were taken at 7.30 am fasting with no Levo for 24hrs. No vit b12 for 7 days prior .

I’m still over 11st so thinking a 25mcg increase would be appropriate?

FT4 is only 38% of range and TSH ell above 1 so yes an increase of up to 25mcgs is in order.

No folate result?

You could afford to increase the amount of vit D you are taking slightly. Optimal is said to be 100-150 for best use of thyroid hormone.

B12 & ferritin are good, well done.

definitely see GP for next increase in dose to 75mcg daily

Which brand of Levo are you currently taking

Ideally don’t change brand as you increase your dose. Only change one thing at a time

Retest again in another 8 weeks

Currently taking Teva and haven’t had any side effects that i know of . Had a telephone appointment today and they are happy to increase to 75 based on symptoms. Review in November. Thank you for your support and rapid response.
