so Ft4 and Ft3 both extremely low and TSH over range
Free T4 (fT4) 14.1 pmol/L (12 - 22) 21.0%
Free T3 (fT3) 3.7 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 16.2%
Folate very low
As you have B12 injections it’s recommended also to supplement a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in (not folic acid) may be beneficial.
This can help keep all B vitamins in balance and will help improve B12 levels between Injections
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 5-7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)
How much vitamin D are you taking
Vitamin D may be better over 100nmol
My ferritin is quite high, it normally is between 29-35.
Get GP to test full iron panel to see what iron levels are like
Retest thyroid levels again in another 2-3 months
consider getting ultrasound scan of thyroid
20% of Hashimoto's patients never have raised antibodies
I started to do every other day B12 jabs along with all of the co-factors, but I stopped them all in January after feeling no better.
My Ferritin back in January was 335 ug/l despite stopping iron 7 days before my blood test.
I haven't taken any supplements or B12 since the middle of January.
On the 12th August I'm getting tested for Coeliac as well as a full iron panel.
I stopped taking Vit D and K2 after suffering my 3rd Stroke in September, I'm on Apixaban so unsure if it's safe to take K2.
On the 15th August I have an appointment to see a rheumatolgist, I have so much joint pain.
I feel so much better after stopping statins back in March, I was on the maximum dose. Though the strokes are thought to be down to the hole in the heart which they discovered back in 2005 but never repaired.
I know that statins can cause joint pain in people with hypothyroidism.
Or if they are disinterested….a thyroid specialist endocrinologist
Here’s link for how to request Thyroid U.K.list of private Doctors emailed to you, but within the email a link to download list of recommended thyroid specialist endocrinologists

The only one out of range is TSH, though it's only just over.

Thorne Basic B recommended vitamin B complex that contains folate, but they are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule) Thorne can be difficult to find at reasonable price, should be around £20-£25. iherb.com often have in stock. Or try ebay
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 5-7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12
Post discussing how biotin can affect test results
I think it’s your thyroid blood results problem here. Your TSH is far too high meaning your t4 and t3 levels are too low which is also shown in those results. You need more thyroxine both T4 and definitely T3. Ask your gp and or Endo to increase your t4 dose. Then recheck to see if your t3 increases. If t3 doesn’t increase then request t3 medication.
Oh dear you have had a lot to cope with over the years and still today. I’m sorry but I don’t know anything about your heart condition really. I have a thyroid problem Hashimoto’s and a very poor converter of T4 to the magical T3 hormone. You could try to get your thyroid checked privately if you wanted through Monitor my Health on line. They are not expensive and it’s a very quick turn around. Just a thought. I hope you start to feel better soon. Xx
Sorry yes you did say in your post. I would suggest from those results your TSH is too high and T4 and T3 are too low. But the antibodies look alright. So, maybe you are starting to have thyroid issues? It’s tricky. You definitely need to keep your eye on your thyroid bloods. Your B12 looks ok. Not sure why ferritin would be that high. Do you take supplements for it. I see a private only endocrinologist who is brilliant and actually listens. If you want to go private only just private message me for his details.
Yes it can be inflammation. Graves’ disease can cause it to be high. Or other inflammation elsewhere in the body. Your Dr really needs to help you here.
