There is pretty much no issue with taking biotin in any dose - except as explained below.

Biotin

Fact Sheet for Health Professionals

...

Health Risks from Excessive Biotin

The FNB was unable to establish ULs for biotin because there is no evidence in humans that biotin is toxic at high intakes [1]. Several studies have found no adverse effects of 10–50 mg/day biotin, and up to 200 mg/day oral biotin or 20 mg/day intravenously in patients with biotinidase deficiency do not produce symptoms of toxicity [1,10].

High biotin intakes, and potentially even intakes greater than the AI, may pose another type of health risk [32]. Supplementing with biotin beyond recommended intakes can cause clinically significant falsely high or falsely low laboratory test results, depending on the test. These incorrect results may lead to inappropriate patient management or misdiagnosis of a medical condition. The following section has more details on these interactions.

Sorry - I thought I'd answered that.

As there is no tolerable upper limit to biotin, then you can certainly take it with a B-complex. Look at it the other way round, if you were already taking a B-complex, then adding biotin would not be an issue.

And the Biotin document does not indicate any problems taking biotin alongside anything else.

The taking together is fine.

I'm no expert on vitamin D and am aware some take high doses without any problem while others cannot tolerate even small doses. But it doesn't seem to depend in any way on B vitamins whether you can take vitamin D!

hair loss frequently linked to low iron/ferritin

post 9 months ago showed low ferritin

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

Poor vitamin levels

Are you vegetarian or vegan

Been tested for coeliac

On gluten free and/or dairy free diet

Have you had full iron panel test recently

Never supplement iron without doing full iron panel test for anaemia first and retest 3-4 times a year if self supplementing.

It’s possible to have low ferritin but high iron

Test early morning, only water to drink between waking and test. Avoid high iron rich dinner night before test

Stop iron supplements 5-7 days before testing

Medichecks iron panel test

Look at increasing iron rich foods in diet

Eating iron rich foods like liver or liver pate once a week plus other red meat, pumpkin seeds and dark chocolate, plus daily orange juice or other vitamin C rich drink can help improve iron absorption

Only ever test thyroid levels after being on constant unchanging dose and brand levothyroxine for minimum of 8 weeks

Yes you may find if Ft4 (levothyroxine) is too high it’s counterproductive
