Bloods done just before 9am and fasted and hadn't had levothyroxine since 24 hours prior. I'm currently only taking magnesium and vitamin D supplements.
If you feel fine and don’t have any symptoms, why can that not be a good enough reason to stay on your dose? Go on Thyroid UK and print out their symptoms checker. If you still have some under active symptoms that would be all the more reason to stay on your dose.
I found that dropping too low made me feel worse very quickly and it to ages to get anywhere near balanced again.
If you have Hashimoto’s, you could try being dairy, soy and gluten free and see if that helps. (Noticed you are vegan, but I’d still try and not have the soy)
Hiya I am still having some underactive symptoms such as fatigue and hypothermia but with tachycardia (but that is more due to stimulant ADHD medication) which GP is putting down to ‘overtreatment’. I am gluten free and mostly soy free, but I struggle for lack of protein when I completely cut out soy and that makes me feel worse. I should probably mention I was recently in eating disorder treatment where I had to drink soya milk 3 times a day and my energy was actually better not worse and my TSH was low, T4 high/normal etc. so I think I’m okay with soya? My weird ‘flu-like’ symptoms started this week and I have blocked sinuses. Tested negative for COVID. Also noticed brand changed to Teva so may be related to fillers? No idea what’s going on as everytime I get used to something, something else changes!
Sorry to hear you have been going through so many things. You sound like you are on the ball. Your GP needs to take into account the whole package (they rarely do, sadly).
I’m not vegan, so please excuse my naivety, but can you have pea protein powder? I’ve heard it’s very good.
There are some nasty cold viruses about at the moment. I think this heat (if you live where it’s hot at the mo) and the dust from the Sahara (this is affecting England etc) will be aggravating all our lungs. I can’t wait till next week when I can put my socks back on and even a fleece. So comforting compared with flaking out on the sofa with my feet and ankles cold from the fan trying to cool the rest of me down.
I hope you can rest and recover and feel a bit better very soon ☺️
