I just wanted to post my recent test results which I had done with Monitor my health. They were done in the morning 8am no meds no food.
Tsh 3.07 (0.27-4.2)
T4 16.9 (12-22)
T3 4.1 (3.1-6.8)
I know that they are all in range. However I have been feeling pretty tired of late and thigh and upper arm muscles aching and heavy. I find standing for 3/4 hours at my art studio very tiring.
In recent tests and going back to last year my tsh was aroung 1.5 if taken at lunch time and about 0.6 if taken in the morning, no meds. (Same Dose)
I am wondering if even though I am in range there is some movement for me to take a little bit more Levothyroxine without suppressing my tsh and whether that will make me feel a bit better.
I currently take 75 mg which I have been on since January 2022.
I don't think I am converting my T4 into T3 that effectively?
Other test results were:
Vitamin D 155 nmol/L Excess advised to stop taking it
Total cholesterol 5.3
non hdl 2.74 nmol/L
HbA1c 34 mmol/mol
HB 148 g/l
Ferritin 40ug/L Normal in range, but low
Active B12 120 pmol/L
Folate 11.2 ug/L
Any comments welcome as to whether I should stick at this dose and maybe take something to increase my ferritin?
Many thanks

Within range results may be what your GP talks about but they are far from optimal and enough to make you feel well. Most people feel well when their TSH is at or just under 1, so your TSH at 3.07 is well above that point. Definitely time for an increase that you may need to insist your GP gives you. You have a fair way to go before your TSH is suppressed, you're not even close.
Free T4 (fT4) 16.9 pmol/L (12 - 22) 49.0%
Free T3 (fT3) 4.1 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 27.0%
Your conversion rate isn't the best but as your FT4 is only at 49% of its range you likely need a few dose increases before we can assess fully if you have a conversion issue.
Vit D - just reduce what you are taking as opposed to stopping it, otherwise you will go too low. You could pause it for a week but optimal is suggested to be around 100-150 so you're not that far off.
What supplements are you taking?
No ranges given for vitamins.
Ferritin is on the low side. A level of 30 would be deficient. Iron/ferritin are tricky in that you can have low ferritin but high iron and also the opposite. Its always suggested to improve ferritin with increased food sources of iron such as chicken livers, pate etc a few times a week washed down with a glass of orange juice to aid absorption. You could also get a full iron panel done for a fuller profile of whats happening with your iron.
I have a face to face appointment at the end of the month with my GP (Gold dust) so I guess I will have to wait until then to discuss and hopefully they will accept my blood tests as they are done through NHS lab.
When you say a few dose increases, do you mean from 75 to 100 every day or maybe just 100 on a couple of days.
I noticed a result I had back in January 2022 when I was taking a mixture of 100/75 on alternate days. I can't say for sure if it was an AM or PM test as I haven't noted it down but it was
TSH 0.08 (0.27 -4.2)
T4 21.3 (12-22)
T3 5 (3.1-6.8)
Obviously I see my TSh is suppressed and I'm at the top end of T4 but my T3 is showing the highest then.
In terms of other vitamins apart from VIt D I have been taking Magnesium, Selenium and recently Zinc and copper.
I have also started taking turmeric this week to help with joints.
I will try and increase my ferritin through diet as you say.
