I have received my latest blood test results done with my Doctor and would appreciate some insights if anything needs to be adjusted. I am on 100mcg Levo and 15mcg T3 (slow release)
TSH 0.03 Range 0.27-4.40
Free T3 pmol/L 3.8 range 3.1-6.8
Total T3 1.2 nmol/L range 1.3-3.1
Free T4 pmol/L 15.4 range 12.0 - 22.00
Reverse T3 25 range ng/dl 8-31
Folate 697 nmol/L range 340-1474
Ferritin 69 ng/mL range 13-150
Vitamin D 90 nmol/L range > 200
I am taking Folate suggested on here from previous post. My anxiety is down form switching to slow release T3. I feel I still have brain fog and tired easily, especially in the evening. puffy face in the morning, cold fingertips and sluggish bowel.
Do the results suggest and slight increase in T4 and T3?

14 hours is a little too long so your result might be showing a false low. ON day before test delay when you take last dose of T3 to get the correct timing.
Are you saying you took all your meds at 7am the day before? Or do you split the T3?
Why did the Endo do an MMA test? Do you have low B12?
Actually its 26 hours after T3 Dose - i take one tablet around 7am the day before and then blood test was done at 9am. I will time it next time 24 hours from day before as its slow release as its compunded to last 24hours.
Is it a capsule? 26hrs is far too long and you won't get an accurate result of your stable blood level. The day before test delay the dose to allow 8-12hrs before test.
Yes its a capsule that's been compounded by a pharmacy to last for 24hours. if my blood test is booked for 9am, I should only take the T3 at 9pm the evening before?
If it is alleged to work for 24hrs then probably testing towards the tail end of that, say 12-18hrs would give you a more accurate result. Probably a bit of trial and error though as Helvella says each pharmacy may produce a capsule of different 'slowness'. You just need to be doing the same each time but definitely well before 26hrs when its all out of your system.
Great, thank you. I will delay the taking of T3 to 3pm the day before my next blood test at 9am which would be 18 hours (if I've calculated it correctly).
