Results with just 150mcg Levothyroxine 21/04/23 6.40am

TSH. 0.04 (0.27-4.2)

T4 20.2 pmol/L (12-22)

T3 4.68 pmol/L (3.1-6.8)

Cortisol 503 (166-507)

Results 27/02/23

TSH 0.04 (0.27- 4.2)

T4 23.5 pmol/L (12-22)

T3 4.8 pmol/L (3.1-6.8)

150mcg Levothyroxine, and now on Oestrogel and Utrogestan HRT (at just over half normal dose)

My vitamin levels were good on the first one and I supplement Vit D+K and Vitamin B complex.

I took the 2nd blood test 2 weeks after I had finished a 10 day prescription of Phenoxymethylpenicillin for an infection, and feeling more Hypothyroid symptoms (drop in mood, cold fingers, tiredness, tingling scalp, weight gain). I also have a weepy eye (not itchy, just tears) Could that be due to high T4 or low T3?

Before the infection I had already been feeling hypothyroid, possibly due to stress but could it be the HRT?

Not sure what to change so any ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi. I am currently on a 10 day course too for strep throat 😬. So it will be interesting to see if it impacts my thyroid. But when I started HRT I did have to change my thyroxine dose and everytime I change my HRT dose the same thing happens so it can definitely effect thyroid levels.
