Welcome to forum.

Do you have a diagnosed thyroid condition or on replacement?

If your not already on replacement your thyroid hormones are in range but low & your thyroid might be working hard to maintain levels.

We can tell you that as the TSH the pituitary hormone which signal the thyroid to work is quite high.

Many doctors don’t worry until thyroid hormones are under range or TSH is high above range eg over 10.

Your antibodies are negative which mean they’re no sign of autoimmune activity.

You’ll need to keep monitoring thyroid function as if TSH continues to be over range GP may offer trial of replacement.

What time was test taken?

Thankyou. Tests taken 9.15am. Not on any medication. No conditions diagnosed. Previously treated for microprolactinoma but no meds required for many years. Only take multivitamins and glucosamine. 57yrs old and not yet menopausal.

TSH tends to be highest in morning so you tested at good time. It’s also said eating can reduce it too. So for consistency we recommend fasting overnight.

Do any of your supplements contain biotin, this can interfere with testing process & needs to be left off 3 days before test.

Microprolactinoma - is this a pituitary related adenoma?

Issues with pituitary can cause secondary hypothyroidism, here the TSH does not respond to low levels as expected. Further monitoring to see if levels change.
