I recently changed to Armour Thyroid, although it's called Thyroid-S in Bali. 10 days in I'm suffering huge panic attacks and dissociation- had these before, but was hoping Armour would help calm these down a bit...panic attacks are lasting all day, shortness of breath, complete zoning out where my brain shuts down...I've been put on Ativan(lorazepam) to help cam the anxiety and nerves. ( i recently had half my finger amputated due o a horse bite, so am suffering extreme trauma too. , not to mention still recovering from a TBI 5 years ago. I'm also on Magnesium supplements, methyl folate 400 and methyl VIt B12 1000 & B6.
Also been recommended Via D3 +K2
I'm trying to come off the lorazepam slowly by adding valerian for my anxiety- also any tips o this transition?
TSH 94
FT4 8.9
FT3 1.5
Antibodies 5000
Any tips? Waiting to feel better....
Also been recommended Ozone therapy and IV vitamin infusions...?
Also feeling like I have a lump in my throat- but docs say there's nothing and it's all in my mind like phantom pain from nerve impulses from my amputated finger...should I get an Ultra sound or CT scan to make sure? Can't see any swelling or loiter, but I just feel tight in my right neck and like i said, like there's a lump on the right side that;s also affecting my ear causing blocking and pain at times,
Thank you in advance for any advice, I feel like I'm loosing my mind a bit, all I can feel is this sensation in my throat which has also been diagnosed as vagal nerve stimulation, as the pain reaches down into my gut...feel such a mess and struggling to get answers...

From my experience mention of Ativan horrifies me. I was put on Ativan about 40 years ago. I then read up about it and managed to wean myself off it, thank goodness - I describe it as going cold turkey. You can become addicted to it. I see you are trying to come off it. Well done. Hope you can do that.
I recently changed to Armour Thyroid, although it's called Thyroid-S in Bali.
There seems to be some confusion there. Armour Thyroid and Thyroid-S are two different products made by two different manufacturers. Which exactly are you taking. Thyroid S picture attached to this post and I will attach a picture of Armour Thyroid in a reply below.
I've frequently seen the name Armour used to refer to NDT in general. There seems to be a bit of a mis-conception that all NDT is the same. Which of course it isn't.
Armour is a brand of Natural Desiccated Thyroid just as Thyroid S is a brand of NDT :
They are both made from pig thyroid dried and ground down into tablets referred to as grains and contain all the same known hormones as tht of the human gland.
The level of T3 and T4 in each grain is detailed on the container and brands may differ very slightly from brand to brand.
No thyroid hormone replacement works well until your core strength vitamins and minerals, especially those of ferritin, folate, B12 and vitamin D are maintained at optimal levels.
On NDT it's usual to see a low/suppressed TSH but your T4 will likely be lower than when on synthetic T4 - Levothyroxine and your T3 should be proportionately higher than when on monotherapy with T4 .
I do not know about these other medications and the possible negative impact these may have of your thyroid medication.
I was on Armour long time ago same issues with severe panic attacks and breathlessness only to discover that it reacted with another medication that I was taking Cymbalta and I never took them anywhere near each other.
