I had my appointment with a thyroid U.K. recommended doctor. I’ve been worried for a while about availability of thyroid S and the changing strengths between batches amongst other things. Felt more comfortable being under someone that can prescribe NDT or T3 going forwards. Especially as I have been in ill health and in hospital at various points. I want something “on the record”.
Anyway doc has prescribed armour. Any experiences of armour? Any experiences swapping from thyroid s to armour?
be interested to hear.

I've never been able to obtain Thyroid S, and I suspect it's because they're alarmed at the prospect of shipping to the U.S.A. I have been taking NP Thyroid (Acela) for four years, and it's regarded to be an equivalent to Armour.
When the product comes from a pork thyroid gland, I expect there's consistency across the supply chain, since nobody is attempting to sort out the compornents of the gland.
There have been a few periods when NP Thyroid batches suffered from reduced potency (a bit too much filler), but, frankly, I never noticed anything while taking those reduced potency tablets.
Armour is the premium product, but everyone makes mistakes. Look at Boeing and the airplanes falling apart in flight.
I only stopped because I was self sourcing and self funding and it became too expensive to continue. I can't help with swapping from Thyroid s as I've never had it.
I’ve been on Armour for years, and before that NatureThroid. They both worked for me. After all, we just want to feel like before we got sick. NDT does it.
