hi all, it seems like once a year I reappear asking for your help. It really is appreciated.
Yet again I've started feeling rough, totally exhausted and awful brain fog, muscle ache. Did medichecks and got the below results (I forgot to stop my vit D and B12 supplements before the test, not sure if that has any bearing).
I do have leftover 25 and 50 mcg levo that I'm tempted to try adding - but is that madness with the TSH so low already? I'm assuming with these T3 and Free Thyroxine results there's really no chance that I'm overmedicated is there? I'm currently on 200mcg levo, was on 250 a year ago (can't honestly remember the process that lead to it being dropped).
TSH 0.02 (was 0.013 a year ago) (0.27-4.2)
Free T3 4 (was 5.7 a year ago) (3.1-6.8)
Free Thyroxine 15.8 (was 22.2 a year ago) (12-22)
Ferretin 130 (13-150)
Folate 6.1 (2.9-14.5)
B12 active - 105 (25.1-165)
Vit D - 92 (50-200)
I've started Selenium again since these results (I'd let it slip foolishly), also taking thiamin to see if that helps (I'm coeliac so won't be getting the usual additives in bread/cereals etc), taking Vit D as GPs said I was under a few months ago (level of 50 then I think).
I also take colesevelam (for Bile Acid Malabsorption) which I think can have a detrimental effect on vitamin levels etc.
Any other suggestions? - thanks so much to you all, your input is very much appreciated.

You don't need to stop these, you just don't take them on the day and the result will tell you what level you are achieving with that dose and whether or not the dose needs adjusting.
What you do need to stop is Biotin, that should be stopped for 3-7 days before the test depending on the dose taken. Biotin is included in a B Complex.
If you are taking B12 then you should also be taking a B Complex to balance all the B vitamins.
B12 active - 105 (25.1-165)
Recommended level is over 100.
Vit D - 92 (50-200)
The Vit D Society and Grassroots Health recommend a level of 100-150nmol/L, with a recent blog post on Grassroots Health mentioning a study which recommends over 125nmol/L.
Can you say what dose of each of these you are taking.
Do you also take companion supplements, ie B Complex with the B12 and for the Vit D you should also take magnesium and Vit K2-MK7.
With that level of B12 you don't need a separate B12, just take a good quality, bioavailable B Complex such as Thorne Basic B which will contain enough B12 to maintain your level and keep other B vitamins balanced. Avoid a B Complex that also contains Vit C as this keeps the body from using the B12, they should be taken 2 hours apart.
thanks Seaside Susie - I'm taking 1200mcg of the better you b12 spray (which I'm pretty sure doesn't contain Biotin). And the GP's recommended 1,000IU vit D (Stexerol D3). I'm taking Cytoplan Selenium 100mcg and just yesterday started Vit B1 500mg (which I assume I can dump if I take the Thorne Basic B, is that right)?Do you think the solution is with the Vitamins etc rather than upping my dose of thyroxine?
Any other way of increasing my T3 (which I assume will then make me feel better)?
I'm taking 1200mcg of the better you b12 spray (which I'm pretty sure doesn't contain Biotin).
No it doesn't contain biotin, it's a B12 supplement, B Complex contains biotin.
Presumably you're taking 4 sprays? You really don't need it now, you would be better off with just the B Complex as suggested above.
any recommended Magnesium and Vit K2-MK7
For Vit K2-MK7 I like Vitabay or Vegavero brands which contain the correct form of K2-MK7 - the "All Trans" form rather than the "Cis" form. The All Trans form is the bioactive form, a bit like methylfolate is the bioactive form of folic acid. You should be able to find those brands on Amazon or Ebay, they are an imported brand and can run out at times.
Unfortunately nobody can recommend which form of magnesium is right for you. Magnesium comes in different forms, check to see which would suit you best and as it's calming it's best taken in the evening, four hours away from thyroid meds if taking magnesium as tablets/capsules, no necessity if using topical forms of magnesium.
