Has anyone gotten worse after trying the thiamine\B1 Protocol?

what are the risks of vitamin B1? if you stop, do symptoms go back to what they were, or are changes (like standing straighter) permanent? Again, thanks. for any replies and forgive the newbie questions.

[The role of thiamine in neurodegenerative diseases] [Article in Polish] Irena Bubko et al. Postepy Hig Med Dosw (Online). 2015

It was proved that supporting vitamin B1 therapy not only constitutes neuroprotection but can also have a favourable impact on advanced neurodegenerative diseases.

Searched Vitacost Vitamin B1 HCL

Performed my usual search to try and bring this item up on my screen before purchasing. No results! And I know how important this item is for so many of us here. What gives?

B1 dose adjustment, adjustment

I mistakenly decided my thiamine hcl (vitamin B1) needed an adjustment. I based the decision on a small change for the worse on one of my symptoms. I took the recommended dose adjustment steps without success. This week while working on a different issue I made a spectacular discovery.

Does Vitamin B1 stop the progression in Parkinson’s if taken with MUCUNA or does it WORK ONLY when taken with C/L.

Does anyone know if Vitamin B1 stops the progression in Parkinson’s if taken with Mucuna or does it stop progression when taken only in combination with C/L??? My husband is not on C/L. He started Mucuna, a year ago, and B1 (fluctuates between 500mg - 1000 mg daily).

HELP

I have been off vitamin B1 for a few months. I ran out and thought I just give it a rest. I'll reorder more tomorrow I guess. Couple of weeks ago I had a day where I felt almost normal. The next day back to my misery!

Personal experience with vitamin b1, thiamine?

I was waking every 2 hours, vitamin b1 has improved my sleep. How long does it take to notice effects? Do they last, or come &go? Because my prognosis/diagnosis is fuzzy, if I have a bad day, I instantly assume I am getting worse. The "rollercoaster" of symptoms frightens me.

IS ANYONE WITH PD TAKING MUCUNA PURIENS PLUS HDT OR VITAMIN B1?

HI, If the above applies to you, please share your experience. Also, have you tried Carbidopa/levodopa with Vit B1 before> If yes, could you compare your experience with when you were on Mucuna P plus Vit B1? Which would you consider as the best combination.

Alcohol and B1

Suspecting that it might be what I'd been enjoying, I started with a search for 'alcohol and vitamins' and read - "Not only is alcohol devoid of proteins, minerals, and vitamins, it actually inhibits the absorption and usage of vital nutrients such as thiamin (vitamin B1), vitamin B12, folic acid, and
