Those results suggest to me that your TSH is a lot higher and your FT3 low in range possibly because you are no longer getting the T3 that was in NDT. Your FT4 is 54% through range, FT3 only 21% through range. When on Levo only, the aim of a treated hypo patient generally is for TSH to be 1 or lower with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of their ranges if that is where you feel well. So I would think a good idea at this stage is to increase your Levo to bring your TSH down to about 1 and then see where your FT4 and FT3 lie.

I'd want to nudge my Vit D up if it was that level, and aim to reach the level recommended by the Vit D Council and Vit D Society - 125nmol/L and 100-150nmol/L respectively.

B12 is low in range. According to an extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:

"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".

"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."

It might be an idea to test Active B12 - which shows how much is available to be taken up by the cells. Serum B12 (which is what you've had tested) just gives the total B12 amount. Active B12 is on offer with Medichecks for £29 at the moment (fingerprick test).

Ferritin, folate and CRP are all fine.

HI Susie,

thank you so much..I hope you are well, the doctors advisory from Medichecks was that he thought my B12 was to high and to reduce it asap. of course of which I will not be because in dec 2018 it was 503.. yes I did think Susie that maybe I need to go from 150mcg to 175 at least every other day and test again in 8 weeks or so and build it up so I am on 175mcg everyday , the vitamin D and B12 I take is the oral spray Better for you, every day maybe I should look at something a little stronger, better do you think?

Many thanks Susie for your invaluable help as always

B12 291 (37.5-188)

Sorry Christina, for some reason I didn't notice the reference range and assumed it was Serum B12, I can see now from the range that it is Active B12, so ignore my remarks about that :)

I agree with Medichecks that with that Active B12 result it would be better to stop supplementing for a while and get it back into range.

in dec 2018 it was 503

Was that Active B12 or Serum B12?

As for Vit D, the oral spray is obviously working OK, I'd just increase the dose for now. Are you taking Magnesium as this helps the body convert the D3 to it's active form. And Vit K2-MK7?

If you mean Active B12, don't bother because that's what you've had tested :)

SCRUMBLER I was on nature throid for nearly 2 years at first did very well, but after april last year all my symptoms came back and I was really poorly bedbound in fact.. so I decided to go back on levo which I had been on for over 45 years with no problems... but had wanted to try NDT to see if it would help with some of the ongoing symptoms that I was still getting daily. the recipe of the NDT changed last year I know it because the 2 grains were making me so ill... its just about getting the levels right. Good luck to you x

Hey hun! How are you feeling with these results? X big hugs
