I recently did a set of Medichecks blood tests which revealed a high TSH [above 9] and below bottom of range FT4.

I had an online consult with a doctor who prescribed 50mg T4 with an online prescription which I have to source, alongside multidosing of T3 and treatment for low cortisol consisting of Thorne Adrenal cortex twice per day. I am allergic to pork so cannot take NDT. I asked him if I could take bovine NDT as I know there are some brands of that on the market, but he said it didn’t work very well.
As I already have a supply of T3 this all sounded so simple, and at last I could see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel until I began to try to fill out the online prescription for T4. He has prescribed Eltroxin, but it contains maize starch to which I am allergic and it also contains acacia powder which a lot of patients on this forum have said has caused them very unpleasant side effects - the kind which don't seem to go away after the medication is stopped. I am already contending with enough health issues without adding any more to them and as I am already sensitive to a lot of chemicals and foodstuffs the likelihood that I might also suffer from a problem with acacia powder is very high. In addition to that, as I will be paying privately for the T4 medication, I cannot afford to buy it and then find that I have to abandon it after a couple of doses because I find that it is causing an unpleasant reaction.
So that leaves me with 2 options 1. Try to find a brand of synthetic T4 without acacia powder or other fillers in it which I might react to or 2. trying a brand of bovine NDT, which John Lowe used for his patients, rather than a synthetic version of T4 which might contain fillers and additives which might cause me an unpleasant reaction and make me more ill. While the bovine NDT might not be ideal it would to my mind be better than no T4 at all, which my body might need, or a synthetic T4 which I might react badly to.
Unfortunately the doctor who prescribed the T4 is not contactable at the moment - I wouldn't be recommending him to anyone. I have spent the last couple of weeks endlessly searching online for alternatives to the Eltroxin, getting more and more confused to the point now where I am completely overwhelmed. If anyone can advise me of a brand of T4 which doesn’t contain unpleasant fillers, or if anyone has used bovine dessicated thyroid and can recommend a brand or if anyone can suggest how to proceed in this situation I find myself in I would be very grateful.
