I have had tests done in September 2019 and February 2020. I have included both sets of results side by side with the latest tests first.

CRP HS 1.89 mg/L (range < 5) 3 mg/L

Ferritin 81.3 ug/L (range 13 - 150) 95.7 ug/L

Folate - Serum 8.27 ug/L (range > 3.89) 11 ug/L

Vitamin B12 Active 109.000 pmol/L (range >37.5 - 188) 127.000 pmol/L

Vitamin D 88.4nmol/L (range 50 - 175) 69.7 nmol/L

TSH 0.409 mIU/L (range 0.27 - 4.2) 0.605 mIU/L

Free T3 4.11 pmol/L (range 3.1 - 6.8) 4.29 pmol/L

Free Thyroxine 24.800 pmol/L (range 12 - 22) 21.7 pmol/L

Thyroglobulin Antibodies 530.000 lIU/L (range <115) 549.000 kIU/L

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 242 kIU/L (range <34) 272 kIU/L

I am obviously doing something not quite right . Any ideas please.

I take Vit B complex, Magnesium, Zinc, D3 with K2. I am supposed to take Vitamin D with Calcium but having read about calcium deposits I eat calcium rich foods and milk. instead.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

What makes you say that?

Are you diagnosed with a thyroid condition?

Are you on any thyroid meds?

Did you know that your raised antibodies suggest autoimmine thyroid disease aka Hashimoto's?

Were both tests done under exactly the same conditions?

* No later than 9am.

* Fast overnight from evening meal/supper, breakfast after the test?

* Water only before test, no coffee, etc?

* Levo, if taken, last dose 24 hours before test?

Ferritin, folate, B12 are all lower than last time. Have you changed dose of your supplements or changed brand?

How much Vit D are you taking and what form - oral spray, softgels, capsules, tablets?

Have you tested calcium?

Hi

I do have Hashimoto's and am taking 100mg Levothyroxine.

All tests are done under the same conditions and at the same time. I haven't changed medications but did take D3 and Calcium for a m onth and then read the problems with calcium collecting in the wrong place. The GP gave me the prescription for D3 and calcium. I do have osteopenia. I take Anastrozole, an estrogen inhibitor as I have had breast cancer. I have until June 2022 to take the Anastrozozle and that would be the ten year course.

I take 3,000 units of D and K2 in an oral spray (Better for you). I have also started on the Gluten free diet and am assuming the slight drop in antibodies could be from that.

No, the doctor did not test for calcium.

Many thanks for your swift reply.
