New Blood Test Results

Hi all, i posted my thyroid blood tests results this morning and got some good advice, thankyou.

I thought that i should post the other results and see what advice i get.

I'm currently on 125mcg Levothyroxine.

TSH 0.01mU/L NR 0.30-4.2mU/L

T4 20.2pmol/L NR 9.0-19.0pmol/L

T3 4.7pmol/L NR 2.6-5.7pmol/L

Vitamin D 28nmol/L

Serum transferrin 3.35g/L NR 1.8-3.6g/L

Serum Iron 12.0micromol/L NR 11-30micromol/L

Serum Folate 9.0microg/L NR 3.0-20.0microg/L

B12 955ng/L NR 180-900ng/L

I had a text message from a Dr at my surgery (not my Dr) who said that he would prescribe me Vitamin D 10,000iu for 4 weeks and also my results indicate that i am taking too much levothyroxine. I have an appointment tomorrow with my Dr and usually he's very good with agreeing to any advice i get from here.

Your FT3 is low

Vitamins likely low because you are either on inadequate dose of Levothyroxine and need dose increase or poor converter

Try to argue to keep current Levothyroxine dose while improving low vitamin levels

Iron and ferritin low and needs improving too

Were vitamins better when on higher dose of Levothyroxine in past?

I normally take vitamin d, b12, iron and folate supplements but haven't taken them for a while and i feel exhausted all the time, now i know why. I shall try and get my Dr to keep me on the same dose of levo and work on upping my vitamin levels.
