Hi Guys, would you be so kind as to give your feedback on my recent results please. My B12 is high as I have been taking B12 supplements to get it up. Of late, I am absolutely fatigued, dizzy, had vertigo a few months back, and am suffering with my ears (fullness, pain sometimes, ultra sensitive to even the slightest altitude change). I get overwhelmed with being in loud, busy, bright places. Recently saw an NHS ENT who said he thinks I need physio & my bloods checked.......no referral.......no blood form!! Just sent me on my way 😤 it’s the extreme tiredness and dizziness that is so debilitating. Next step is going to have to be a private ENT. If any of your have any recommendations (I live in Kent, UK) I would be grateful. Or have any of you experienced anything similar? Thank you for your help. Mandy

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
Is this how you did the test?
FT4 is likely too low
FT3 is very low
Obviously GP and most endo's would only look at low TSH
Vitamin D is still too low. Aiming for at least around 80nmol and around 100nmol may be better
Hi yes I did test 24 hours clear of Levo & fasting. It was about 10am. Vit D has been sporadic, but now taking the Better You Vit D/K2 and will keep that up every day. What can I do do to get my FT3 up? Thank you Mandy
It looks like you could do with an increase in levothyroxine. You may simply be under medicated. I would try that first before either changing to a ndt or adding T3.
where is the magnesium? and the supporting B6 ? Because blood tests don't properly measure this vital mineral , they only reflect what is in the blood, which is about 1% of
total body value. Dosage about 600mg a day depending on how much your diet is supplying. Type of magnesium , citrate, malate, glycinate, oratate. or for better absorption chloride... available from Amazon or any health store. B6 about 100 gm.
