So your high antibodies confirm you have Hashimoto's

Your FT4 is extremely low. Likely causing symptoms. Suggest you try 25mcg dose increase in Levothyroxine as first step

You may need to cut T3 dose a little. But generally always make one change at a time

Vitamin D is still too low. How much vitamin D have you been taking?

Aiming to improve by self supplementing to at least 80nmol and around 100nmol may be better .

Once you Improve level, very likely you will need on going maintenance dose to keep it there.

Retesting twice yearly via vitamindtest.org.uk

Vitamin D mouth spray by Better You is good as avoids poor gut function.

It's trial and error what dose each person needs. Frequently with Hashimoto's we need higher dose than average

Are you on strictly gluten free diet now?

Hi, thanks. Will increase my t4 starting today.

I had stopped taking my vits a week ago, but started again after blood draw. Was gradually feeling worse without them, esp back and hip pain. I normally take 2000 iu of vit d daily. Psyching myself up for the completely gluten free diet. What do you think of the ferritin level?

If GP hasn't done full iron panel to check that iron is not also high, it should be done

You can have high ferritin and low iron.

High ferritin and high iron would want more testing for hemochromatosis

Presumably you are not supplementing iron?

Ferritin can be high due to Hashimoto's

Mine is similarly high....

Will try to persuade gp to investigate. Stopped taking multivits over a year ago. Might try giving blood. Thanks v much.
