These are my latest labs. I would like to know what does everyone think about it and perhaps some advice on dosing?
I am currently on Synthroid 25mcg + NDT 65mg (1 grain).
TSH 0.04 - (0.30- 4.0)
T4 - 12 - (10 - 20)
T3 4.7 (3.0- 6.5)
TPO antibodies - 404 ( less than 60)
vitaminD is fine
b12 is Fine
Ferritin I havent tested lately but taking supplements regularly.
I just dont understand Why I cannot get my T4 any higher. T3 is Fine, last time I tested it was top of the range and then I reduced my dose by 1/4 grain of NDT. Should I increase my t4 only medication to help with gettung my t4 higher? will that push t3 over the range and make me hyper?
Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot!

If you are hypothyroid, you cannot become hyper; you can be over-medicated though, which is a different thing. It is to be expected that when taking T3 in whatever form, that your FT4 will be lower in range, or even low, it's a normal response; and whether that suits you or not is individual to you - some will be fine with that, others will be symptomatic. At the moment, your FT4 result is only 20% in range and your FT3 range only 48.5%, but you haven't said how you are feeling with those levels. With a FT3 result below mid-range, many would be feeling the effects of being under-medicated - a FT3 level in the top quadrant might be considered optimal. So if those results were mine, I would be increasing the NDT, not least because 1 grain is only a low dose. Regarding your vitamin levels, "fine" is an opinion not a result, and where they are within their respective ranges can have an impact.
Isnt it strange though that my t4 is that low even on 76mcg t4 and 9mcg t3, and that my t3 is near the top of the range? if i increase my NDT by just even 1/4 grain my t3 is definately top of the range. So I am confused as to why my t4 doesnt move and t3 goes up and down like a rocket. Would that mean I need t4 only medication?
also, my symptoms are I guess more or less ok. But with increasing medication I start feeling hot and then cold on and off. what I mean is profuse sweating and then my feet would be cold if the weather changes. But main concern is the hot flashes and the feeling of anxiety.
