I started using this spray about 3 months ago, on aching hips and knees.
Have to say I’m pleasantly surprised it’s working !
I’m just wondering if this is enough magnesium to help with hypothyroidism or should I still be popping the pills ?

Often see forum members discuss use of Mg and zinc supplements, but never seen optimal levels suggested. Just had my Mg and zinc tested for the very first time for a change with Medichecks, results seemed ok : Mg was 0.8(0.66-0.99) and Zinc 15.9(10.7-17.5). I have supplements for both but tend to take them only weekly, as give priority to ferritin, folate, b12 and vitD ( with K2) dosing to optimal, yet certainly have aches and pains. Should I be taking them more frequently? Is your spray external like those who take Mg /Epsom salts baths?
i only use the sprays in summer, & supplements the rest of the year, though I like a soak in a magnesium hexahydrate or epsom salt bath best. I notice if I forget as I get cramp without enough. I'm ok with 200mg if I eat magnesium rich foods, or 300 without.
Have you tried making your own spray? Much cheaper than the shop bought & I can make a weaker dilution so it's stings less.
Thanks for tip, I’ll look into making my own .... need to find a recipe !
I pour out a quarter bottle of witch hazel then top the bottle up with magnesium hexahydrate which dissolves easily. A funnel helps, or use a folded piece of paper to pour the Mg in as spooning it is laborius & messy. Pour into a spray bottle & hey presto!
Adjust the Mg according to how strong you want it. Both are available in my local cheap household shops for £1.49 for 150ml WH, & £2.50 for 1kg Mg. 1kg will do at least 5 bottles of WH. A few months worth for the cost of 1 small bottle of shop bought Mg oil, though save your spray bottle for your home made version. You could use boiled water, rather than witch hazel to make it even cheaper. My skin is excessively sensitive so the WH helps reduce the sting slightly. If you make it too strong & stingy, you can shower after half an hour to remove it as it's mostly been absorbed in that time.
Do you mean Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate?
