Should I try T3 only?

About ten years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I spent several years with brain fog, aching joints and felt very stressed and over-whelmed a lot. I then had a stressful few years and found my brain fog had got a lot worse and I felt very anxious and irritable. I also found that I could no longer do yoga, which used to help me. At the time I assumed it was that the CFS that had got worse, but after a blood test, in January 2017, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.

I took Levo for a year and a half but never felt well, even though my blood test results were always quite good. My conversion was also found to be good.

For the past eight months I have been taking NDT and I've been having a lot of problems with it. My brain seems to be working a bit better but I feel like I have less energy. I took Thiroyd for a few months and it gave me more energy to do things like housework, but I still had a lot of bad days where I couldn't do very much. I found that I was only able to increase up to 1 1/4 grains. In the end I had to stop taking it as it was giving me digestive issues.

Since January, I have been taking Metavive II. I tried to increase my dose to 1.5 grains but had to reduce back to 1 1/4 grains as it made me feel very anxious and jittery. Since taking Metavive I feel like my health has got worse. I have very little energy and brain fog. My face and eyes have also got puffier. I've always thought that maybe I have adrenal issues and that was causing my problems with NDT, but I recently did the Dutch Test and apart from having slightly high cortisol in the mornings, my adrenal function was fine.

I had a blood test this week and I was surprised that my thyroid results seem quite good. I was wondering if maybe I should try and take T3 only?

These are my blood test results from this week. When I took the blood test I was ill with a virus and I'm not sure if that might be why my inflammation is high.

Inflammation CRP 13.21 mg/L (Range: < 5)

Folate - Serum 18.26 ug/L (Range: > 3.89)

Vitamin B12 - Active 196.000 pmol/L (Range: 37.5 - 188)

Free T3 5.33 pmol/L (Range: 3.1 - 6.8)

Free Thyroxine 15.200 pmol/L (Range: 12 - 22)

Autoimmunity Thyroglobulin Antibodies <10 kU/L (Range: < 115)

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies <9.0 kIU/L (Range: < 34)

Iron 9.74 umol/L (Range: 5.8 - 34.5)

TIBC 54.14 umol/L (Range: 45 - 72)

UIBC 44.4 umol/L (Range: 24.2 - 70.1)

Transferrin Saturation 17.99 % (Range: 20 - 50)

Ferritin 60 ug/L (Range: 13 - 150)

If anyone can offer any advice, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.
