Tsh <0.01 range 0.35/4.94

FT4 9 range 8/22

Ft3 3.04 range 2.89/4.88

Anti tpo <33.40

Anti thyroglobulin <244

Took ndt 48 hrs prior to test and all supplements stopped a week before test.

I have half thyroid that has nodules and I’m due back to see endo this afternoon. Is there anything that I should be asking about please?

I’m on immune suppressing meds so not even sure if this impacts on anti tpo and anti thyroglobulin tests

Do you have the ranges on TPO and TG antibodies?

They are almost certainly over range

In which case cause of hypothyroidism is due to autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's)

Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Are you on strictly gluten free diet?

If not, you likely need to try it

Ideally getting coeliac blood test first just to rule it out

Thank you for the response my ranges are anti tpo <60=negative- 60/100 equiv - >100= positive

Anti thyroglobulin <280=negative - 280/344= equiv- >344= positive

So are these all ok would you think and also whilst I’m on immune suppressants would this affect my results? And if having half thyroid would this have an impact in results. I’m confused

So you appear to be negative for high TPO antibodies

But positive for high TG antibodies

High TG antibodies can be due to number of things.....or nothing.....some people just have high TG antibodies
