I’m on 75mcg of levo but feel dreadful still. Super exhausted in the morning, ringing in my ears, palpitations, hair falling out easily when washing it...
I was gluten free but didn’t feel any better so reverted back to my old diet.
This is the highest my TSH has been since I’ve been tested. Even at my GP’s blood test on 22nd September my TSH was around 3.
I take selenium, magnesium, Vit d3 & K2, zinc, ashwangandha, probiotic.....
The tiredness is just the worst. 😕
Anyway, will show these to the endo, wish me luck x

You need 25mcg dose increase in Levothyroxine and retested in 6-8 weeks later
Essential to test folate , B12 and ferritin too
Vitamin D still slightly low.
Aiming to improve to around 100nmol. Vitamin D mouth spray by Better You is good as avoids poor gut function. Suggest you supplement 1000iu for 2-3 months and retest. It's trial and error what dose each person needs. Once you Improve level, very likely you will need on going maintenance dose to keep it there. Retesting twice yearly via vitamindtest.org.uk
Ringing in ears - tinnitus is very often linked to low B12
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies and also very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or vitamins
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. When on Levothyroxine, take last dose 24 hours prior to test, and take next dose straight after test. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
