Hi, wondering if anyone can help? I know people aren’t allowed to post specific consultants on here but even just a pointer in the right direction would be good!

I have been trying for a baby for just over a year having had my daughter in May 2017. She was conceived after 3.5 years of trying to conceive through IVF with prednisolone as my antithyroid peroxidase antibodies were sky high (>1500)

Since having my daughter my TSH levels have been all over the shop but seem to have finally stabilised. I have just been through a frozen embryo transfer which ended in a chemical pregnancy.

I am committed to lifestyle changes and don’t have gluten and dairy, nor sugar. I supplement with iron, probiotics, selenium, a multivitamin and various other things. I saw a functional medicine practitioner who was helpful and said I had Candida so I have been working on that. My levels are now >500 so a bit better but still high.

I wonder about areas such as oestrogen dominance and also just what the autoimmune side of things does for my fertility. But I can’t find any doctors who don’t want to just talk about fertility treatment. I am willing to walk down that road again (when I have recovered) but I just wish I could have a professional to help me with this rather than feeling I have to try and work it out myself!

Sorry this is such a long post. I guess what I’m asking is, are there any decent endocrinologists out there that specialise in fertility? I feel that I would like to see what my body can do, and have always consistently been pushed down an artificial route. Any advice or thoughts really welcome!

Sorry you had no replies. It may be that your post was missed or simply that no one had any relevant info.

If you still need help it may be worth posting again.
