Hi just had blood results from Blue Horizon. Your comments would be welcomed. Feeling okay-ish, exhausted by this weather.

hs-CRP H 9.71 <5.00

Ferritin 100.00 13-150

TSH L 0.20 0.27 -4.20

T4 total 90.8 66 - 181

FT4 17.40 12.0-22.0

FT3 3.92 3.1-6.8

ATP 28.2 <34

ATG Abs 10 <115

Vit D 86

Vit B12 H 601

Folate 33.40 8.83-60.8

Bit concerned about hs-CRP figure but I've recently been diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus and wondered if this relevant??

Many thanks in advance x

Your FT3 is very low. You either need dose increase in Levo or addition of small dose of T3

Although your antibodies are just below range, do you have Hashimoto's? Lichen Sclerosus is autoimmune so that suggests your thyroid is too

Are you on gluten free diet? Can help thyroid also likely help lichen (helps lichen planus)

Are you taking selenium

Hi thanks Slow Dragon. I am gluten free as I have Hashimotos. It's helped a lot. I take 200ug of selenium each day as well as other stuff. I don't think my endo would increase my dose as TSH below range (even though it's only just). She doesn't prescribe T3 either 😣 I don't think any endo in UK does x

There are quite a few Endo's in UK who do prescribe T3

Email Thyroid UK on Monday for list of recommended thyroid specialists. Always check direct with the consultants secretary if it's not clear on the info wether they do prescribe T3 if needed

It is possible, but difficult to get T3 on NHS. But much easier to get private prescription for T3. This enables buying from EU - Germany usually. 31 Euro for 100 tablets 20mcg. Prescription only.

Roughly where in UK are you?
