You need an urgent appointment with your GP to discuss your dire nutrient levels and ask for treatment.

Ferritin is indicative of possible iron deficiency anaemia, you need a full blood count and iron panel. Ask for an iron infusion which will raise your Ferritin level within 24-48 hours whereas tablets will take many months. You probably need referring to a haematologist your level is so seriously low.

Folate is below range therefore deficient.

B12 is very low so ask to be tested for B12 deficiency/pernicious anaemia. Don't start folic acid supplements for your low Folate level until these B12 tests have been carried out. Check for signs of B12 deficiency here, list any you have to show your GP b12deficiency.info/signs-an...

Vit D is 0.3 above the level where you should be prescribed loading doses for Vit D deficiency according to NICE Clinical Knowledge Summary, so ask for them.

Because your levels are so poor you coukd very well have gut/absorption problems so you should ask to be checked for malabsorption/Coeliac disease.

As for your thyroid, protocol is to retest 6 weeks after starting Levo, increase dose by 25mcg, retest 6 weeks later, increase by 25mcg, repeat until levels are where you need them to feel well. The aim of a treated hypo patient generally is for TSH to be 1 or lower with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of their ranges if that is where you feel well.

You also need thyroid antibodies tested as such poor nutrient levels often accompany autoimmune thyroid disease aka Hashimoto's.

"I have been told the complete blood count did not show anything"

Who told you that - a monkey?

MCV 78 (80 - 98)

MCHC 358 (310 - 350)

Those results indicate iron deficiency anaemia. See your GP as advised above.

Hate when doctors say that ! Your blood work does show these deficiencies - iron B12, folate ; they need addressing plus vit D

Makes so cross doctors ( and vets ) are keeping patients ill ! Please push them x

I think you can see that your result is above range, positive for Coeliac.

I'm so sorry to see you've had such poor treatment and help from your GP ~ all to common these days it seems. You are in the right place to get really good help and advice👍 You must feel awful.

For your constipation you could try some magnesium citrate powder ~ worked wonders for me, and you will need to take it anyway, as most people are deficient in magnesium ~ I use viridian, but there's many types. Linusit golden linseed is useful too as they go slimy once ingested, and smooth the passage of stools. It's also high in omega 3. I just have a spoonful with kefir or live yoghurt.

As you probably have gut issues preventing absorption of vitamins and minerals, when you are able to supplement, you could look at Better You mouth sprays ~ they are excellent and were a life saver for me when I had a very low Vit D level and couldn't absorb the awful tablets. I use all their sprays now anyway ~ worth every penny IMO.

Good luck with it all, and don't worry if GP doesn't help with the necessary tests, they're all available privately through this site ~ I hope you find someone who actually knows what they're doing!

Learn all you can re thyroid issues by reading around the forum, and ask any questions, then you will be in a better position to understand if you're getting the correct treatment. Take care 🌻 x

I would look to correct the vitamin and mineral deficciencies ASAP as these can interfere with proper usage of thyroid hormone on the cellular level. After having done that, I would retest and also test for Hashimotos. When i see a high TSH even though T3 and T4 levels look normal, I suspect autoimmune thyroid disease and I believe in that case, you could benefit from going ahead and beginning treatment. Also, if you have autoimmune thyroid disease, look into low dose naltrexone.
