Bloods done

I was advised to get blood test done,I have tried to link into previous messages but really fuddled head + gave up !

Would be grateful for any advice,

I asked for full thyroid + was told by doctor it would be done-alas they didn’t

I am in process of self testing but in the meantime could I be steered in direction for next step

My doctor said wait another 6weeks to see endo + see what she says-the endo is my diabetic doctor

Has GP tested for Pernicious Anaemia and intrinsic factor as advised in previous post, in view of your ongoing symptoms of low B12?

Ask for trial of B12 injections anyway to see if improves balance

Once you have been tested, if B12 injections refused then probably want to start good vitamin B complex and sublingual B12

Don't understand the TPO antibodies result - can you clarify?

Iron is seriously low. What is GP prescribing

Vitamin D is much to low, aiming to improve to around 100nmol. GP won't prescribe, you will need to self supplement

See SeasideSusie many detailed vitamin supplements replies to others

Likely to find gluten free diet might help

Only start one thing at a time

Suggest you see different GP and push for prescription for iron. You can buy iron over counter but GP SHOULD prescribe with below range results

Vitamin D, Better You vitamin D mouth spray is good as avoids poor gut function. Perhaps start with 1000iu spray once day. Increase to 2-3 sprays per day and retest in 2-3 months via vitamindtest.org.uk £29

B12 and folate, push GP for testing. Endo likely to be disinterested in testing

Suggest you get private testing of BOTH TPO and TG antibodies before seeing endo
