Hello Bubblegum. Could I just check the number for your Tsh? Is it 103.5? Is the decimal point in the right place? If so you are extremely hypothyroid. Are these NHS results for the UK?
In addition all your other results are much too low and need addressing immediately.
You are profoundly hypothyroid and should be started on Levothyroxine replacement immediately. Starting dose for patients <50 without heart disease is 50-100mcg.
B12 and folate are deficient. B12 injections should be initiated 48 hours prior to starting 5mg folic acid to improve folate. Your GP should investigate whether pernicious anaemia is causing B12 deficiency. Go to healthunlocked.com/pasoc for advice on B12 and folate deficiency.
Vitamin D is severely deficient. Your GP should refer to local guidelines or the NICE CKS recommendations for treating vitamin D deficient adults cks.nice.org.uk/vitamin-d-d... Don't be fobbed off with a prescription for 800iu. My GP prescribed 40,000iu daily x 14 followed by 2,000iu daily x 8 weeks which raised vitD from <10 to 107.
You can buy vitamin D3 without prescription. If you buy on Amazon please use the affiliate link healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
Vitamin D should be taken 4 hours away from Levothyroxine and T3.
Ferritin is deficient and this may indicate iron deficiency anaemia. Your GP should do an iron panel and full blood count to check. If you are prescribed iron it should be taken 4 hours away from Levothyroxine and T3.
Yes,. You are very, very hypothyroid, your ferritin is much too low (aim for at least 70) and you probably have iron deficiency anaemia, you have a severe vitamin D deficiency and both your folate and B12 are under range, suggesting pernicious anaemia. Any GP who has seen these results and done nothing should be slowly roasted over an open fire.
