You have an Autoimmmune Thyroid Disease called Hashimoto's. It is the commonest form of hypothyroidism. Treatment is the same for both.

Your TSH is above range and assume that's why you've been diagnosed.

I am assuming your GP has prescribed Vit D3 supplements as you are very deficient.

Your B12 is below range and GP should test for the intrinsic factor which would confirm or not if you have Pernicious Anaemia. He should do this before any supplementation.

Ferritin and folate need to be addressed and I will give you a link to SeasideSusie and you can read about how to raise vits/minerals.

Thanks for reply I have been taking levo for 5 years and the doctors and endos have changed my dose a bit. TSH when first diagnosed was 45.8 (0.2 - 4.2) and Free T4 10.1 (12 - 22)

Diagnosed five years ago and no symptoms resolved. It is pathetic that doctors have lost their expertise in diagnosing and treating.

As you have Hashimoto's you need to read and learn as much as possible about it, as medics completely ignore this aspect.

Hashimoto's reduces gut function, usually with low stomach acid causing poor vitamin levels (as shown in your results)

Improving vitamins is essential - see SeasideSusie replies on vitamins

Eg

but also looking at healing gut is very important too

Gluten intolerance is extremely common. Changing to strictly gluten free diet can help reduce Hashimoto's swings, heal gut and help vitamins.

Very many of us on here with Hashimoto's find going strictly gluten free reduces symptoms significantly

Other things that can help are daily probiotic to improve good gut bacteria, bone broth and fermented foods like kefir

Great film

You need your TSH at lower end of range (at least one or less) and FT4 in top 1/3 of range and FT3 at least half way in range

Improving vitamins will help Thyroid hormones to work
