I do hope there is someone out there who would be kind enough to advise?

Once more, a visit to my doctor to try and find out more . I have felt so bad, I had tests done through blue horizon(please see link below).

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

Showed him and explained about the recent additional symptoms and posed some questions see below:

Eye strain/ areas of blurred print when reading

Q:could this be thyroid being affected?

What feels like repeat flare- ups of Throat feeling swollen and difficulty swallowing, sometimes spreads up towards the ears.

Q Is this thyroid being attacked?

Worsening of muscle tiredness in most parts of body

Q: is this b12 deficiency Now under treated?

Aches/pains in finger joints, shoulders, thighs

Q: Are these possible rheumatoid flare- ups or related to b12 deficiency symptoms re- emerging?

Showed him the blood test results showed Ferritin was high

Q What is causing this?

Q was the conversion of T4 into T3 a little low, if so, Why?

Also D on low side, too. Q Why ?

Doctor is running some more blood tests and is seeing me on Friday

Tests being carried out:

B12, Folate, RA, FE, FETR, FEP, IFAB, FBC

I asked for an appointment with an endocrinologist, but he said to see the test results first.

Anyone out there kind enough to give advice on this and what to insist on next - Depending on these blood test results, what others should I ask for?

Endocrinologist appointment?

So glad you are here, I don't know where I would have been if I hadn't found out about this site(and PAS)

I think you had a comprehensive reply before from Seaside Susie so may be why no response now to a long piece. No idea what the tests are for but there is a site that might explain ,think it is lab tests online.

High B12 not a problem.

My ferritin has always been higher than yours , over 800 last time,it is a problem but stopped worrying as cannot seem to control it.

Someone put a link to abferritin guide on the site yesterday.
