How very difficult for your wife to be dealing with chemotherapy for a third time. Does your wife's medical team have any useful suggestions for her?

It's understandable that it's tricky to increase magnesium levels as so many supplements do tend to trigger loose stools at the best of times, never mind for someone moving through chemotherapy.

This site has some good suggestions as to what to take, what to avoid etc.: my-magnesium.com

My family and I drink the magnesium water (you add a little magnesium oxide to fizzy water to create the absorbable bicarbonate version).

You do need to be mindful of your potassium intake while supplementing magnesium and that same site has some useful suggestions for supplementing if your wife's appetite isn't up to consuming the necessary amount of fruit and vegetables.
