On the Road again, great song by Willie Nelson,

Onwards and upwards Mandy.

Hope your legs gets better soon. I found out yesterday that it will be another 18 months before I get my hip replaced. I'm devastated and really don't know if I will be able to stick this level of pain much longer to be honest.

😔🍀

thanks jose

dam NHS dont rush anything do they, sorry your in so much pain :(

my pain will hopefully go, i over did things the weekend and suffering now (guess i wont let my stash corner get so bad again) we had to get a new (free ) sofa as kids ruined sptngs in mine by jumping on it and to do that i had to sort my crochet/stash/hiding stuff corner and spent a good 4 hours balanced on the edge of a seat sorting everything and guess the pressure was on my legs so now they are hurting

on a good note i have a years supply of hi fi bars lol, i used to buy them and hide them in my corner then stuff would get moved and i lost them so would but more lol

I read about your corner and could just picture it with all the wool and stuff. Lol.

I'm a bit of a hoarder and need a clear out.....like 2 years ago...it will just have to wait.

I used to crochet with the white satinised thread, and I have done embroidery and Carrickmacross Lace. Love, love all that type of stuff.

I'm the youngest of 11 children, 7 girls & 4 boys.

Country living, no TV so handicrafts was our hobby. Loved my childhood, although Mum died when she was only 51 of Asthma. I was 9.

i had no choice but to do the corner or there would have been an avalanche lol, its needed doing for ages but you know whats it like, you take a look and your exhausted, hubby said he would do it but everything would of been binned

i now have 3 back bags, 3 under bed storage boxes and a sports direct bag full of wool, 2 black bags of unfinnished projects

i can get on with the thin cotton stuff i just land up with a tangle and very stressed, normally do blankets and tedddies but my latest project is chucky from childs play, but ive done jack and sally from nightmare before christmas, all the frozen charecters, the turtles........its the only thing i do really (when brain works), i learned all i know from you tube

i have 11 kids myself 6 boys 5 girls, oldest 26 youngest 9 and 3 grandbabies

You sure have your hands full but it is very rewarding.

We are a close family, always have been and I think it comes from having to share.

Love your black and white photo Mandy.

Enjoy your day,

J 🍀

it is hard and they have their moments, they are kind of close, best of friends worst of enemies

that photo we had drawn about 7 years ago cost a fortune but was worth every penny, the girl at the back near the chunky tall one wasnt actually here the day we took the pic so we had to send another pic of her in and the guy added her in

(should allso add the tall chunky one is now tall and very slim and allso my SW consultant)

i really need to get a newer pic done with the grandbabies included
