Hey all, I realise this may well be subjective but I was wondering how much shelf bought ranitidine would be equivalent to 20mg omeprazole?
I only ask as I'm currently subbing with ranitidine while awaiting my omeprazole prescription. I took 75mg yesterday but felt very off and bloated in the evening. I've taken the same again today. Should I be taking more instead?
FYI: I'm well aware they're totally different drugs, but people use them in the same way, so please don't feel the need to 'educate' me in any comments you make.

They are 2 totally different drugs. Ones a ppi and the other an H2 antagonist. But if you just waiting for your omep then I have one 75 my am and one pm .
I have NASH as well as a recent diagnosis of GERD I take Ranitidine as I understand it is less harmful to liver but not 100% sure on this I take 150 morn & evening seems to work
