Cramps and tightness in calves
Since November 2018 I've been on Lupron/Prednisone,
Zytiga
and recently started Prolia. PSA has been steadily dropping (now 0.51). Side effects manageable so far. Lately I have been feeling tightness in my calves especially in bed. Had a few cramps that went away quickly.

"Cholera Vaccine for Prostate Cancer Patients"
Doing very well on
Zytiga
/Prednisone and Lupron. Saw a reference to the use of cholera vaccine by prostate cancer patients and followed it up by locating an article in "Nature Communications", June 18, 2018, on that topic (link: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-018-04814-4).

Officially Undetectable
I took
zytiga
for about 4 months but my liver enzymes kept elevating, so after taking several 4 week breaks and starting back on lower doses, my Dr switched me to Xtanti about 3 months ago.

Would anybody know if you could take CABAZITAZEL and still continue taking ZYTIGA, LUPRON and ZOMETA?
In the past, right after my first Chemotherapy treatment, I spent over a year with an undetectable PSA just from Lupron and after that period was over, I was put on drugs like Casodex until I was refractory on that one and then
Zytiga
and for a moment on Xtandi and then right back on
Zytiga
.

4 Months Firmagon & 3 Months Zytiga + Prednisone Progress Question
I started Firmagon on May 6 and
Zytiga
-prednisone on June 9. The important numbers have steadily improved. PSA now down to 4.7 from 47. ALP now down to 63 from a high of 149. Everything else looks great, from the middle-end of the range to the low in comprehensive metabolic tests.

What to do after chemo?! Immunotherapy trials!?
His doctor suggested a couple of options: 1) only continue ADT and monitor PSA monthly 2) start
Zytiga
now 3) more rounds of chemo What is everyone’s opinion? I want him to get Immunotherapy. Everything I read says it extends life. IMHO life extension is what it is all about not PSA level.

Pelvic MRI on Thursday at MDA
This was accomplished by a combination of injections of Lupron every three months, two
Zytiga
daily, along with a daily dose of Dexamethasone. However my weight has increased by almost 45 pounds and I still have the same issues with my prostate as I did b4 I knew I had cancer.

Chemo v/s Zytiga ?
Since his PSA is almost 0 and blood work has improved, doctors have given us 2 options of Chemo - Docetaxel (every 3 weeks, 6 cycles) and
Zytiga
(Abiretarone). However my MO strongly advises Chemo first, considering dads age (53 yrs) and widespread mets.

Very low PSA
Periodically I have used
Zytiga
(liver enzymes high). In another discussion ( David Heath) it was mentioned that PSA also can relate to cancer kill rates. My immune system has not been overly compromised (yet!). My Docs are happy with my PSA but can it also mean that mets are progressing.

Duration of ADT+Zytiga? Thoughts on when to stop or get another opinion?
Started Lupron+
Zytiga
and completed 72gy of EBRT in January. PSA has been undetectable at <.05 ever since. Given the good results of EBRT + ADT, it might seem reasonable to continue with 18 months of ADT+

Apalutamide side effects
I was on
Zytiga
but discontinued due to raised liver enzymes. I am still hormone sensitive with a PSA of .008. I have just been prescribed apalutamide (Erleda). How have side effects been for others . I sense that they may be worse than Zytiga's

ADT Vacation/What PSA to Resume and Prostate Cancer Bipolar Therapy With Testosterone
Taking monthly Firmagon,
Zytiga
, Prednisone and Metformin. Alternative doc recommended taking a vacation from ADT, monitor PSA, Testosterone and resume when PSA is about 30. That is where it was when he was diagnosed. Now PSA undetectable.

ADT, Zytiga and Fitness
I'd like to hear from anyone who is trying hard to keep fitness up wile on ADT and
Zytiga
. I've been on ADT for 16 months now and close to a year on
Zytiga
. In between I've done the six cycles of Taxotere and 26 sessions of IMRT.

Spike in PSA
We retest in late Sept, but wondered if others have experienced a jump like this that was caused by something other than having run the course with
Zytiga
?

Advanced Prostate Cancer - Next Steps
I'm 56 years old and in the late stages of the ongoing battle - had 3 surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy in 2016, castrate resistant, on Lupron for the past 2 years, did
Zytiga
and Erleada, and about to do a 7th Docetaxel "juicing" (sounds so much healthier than infusion).

Increased urinary frequency at night
Added
Zytiga
in Feb 2019. PSA undetectable in Feb 2019, and every test since. The question is: I've gone from getting up once or twice a night to urinate, to recently getting up 2-4 times nightly to urinate. I take Tamsulosin nightly, avoid beverages late, etc.
