Zomorph

In addition to my recent post am I likely to have withdrawal symptoms from stopping the daily Oramorph but continuing with Zomorph. Thank for any advice. Kind regards David’s

I was still in a lot of pain so they said I should have Zomorph a slow release morphine medication. They never mentioned for me to stop taking Oramorph..

Hi I have been on 40mg of Zomorph (slow release Morphine) for several years .I take 20mg morning and 20mg evening plus 150mg Pregablin evenings I would like to know what would be the equivalent dose of Butrans patch I would need to use weekly Thankyou Pipps

Hi all,I have known about the RLS/iron link for many years however as my ferritin iron level has always been around 100 I haven't taken iron consistently.Five months ago I started "getting serious " in taking it every other night with vitamin C as even with my Zomorph and Pregablin I was still getting

I've never even been offered zomorph and I don't know why. I suppose my question is should I change my doctors or am I just gonna get the sam run around.

They also seem to be at a loss as what medication to give me, currently on gabapenten, zomorph, paracetamol and naproxen and mirtazipine.

So she calls, wait for it , and says you need to remove your butec patch and stop tramadol immediately, then tomorrow start lower dose of zomorph. I said out of the question, that will exacerbate my pain, which is currently 8/10.

Monthly pain and bleeding returning with a vengeance pain relief zomorph 30mg, naproxen and pregabalin now given the option of total hysterectomy. Any information would be amazing Thank you.

At the mo I'm on the following meds schedule: Prednisolone 30mg after breakfast ( got a week left on this) Zomorph 30mg after breakfast and before bed. (Start trying to taper off this next week over 3 weeks) Oromorph as and when needed for breakthrough pain. Omeprazole 20mg am and pm.

I'm on a lot of meds and currently weaning off zomorph which I've been on for almost 7yrs and I'm now on pregabalin which I've found to help a lot but I'm still obviously having some pain.

after a year finally did one in June 2021 28 weeks wait did mri of my back in error waited again Sept 2021 got results in march 2022 torn ligaments in ankle and both knees and fluid which is why I can't stand or walk.and in agony 24/7 not pain but can go shopping or pain can cook nothing finally on zomorph

Does anyone take zomorph please my doctor changed me from OxyContin and I’m just wondering if anyone else is taking the same please?

I use fentanyl patch 37 strength and my gp has just changed my tablet pain medication from OxyContin 5mg to zomorph 10mg as they are trying to cut my opioids down. could anyone please tell me if they have used this and if it helped them.

Hi i suffer from sacroilliac joint Pain on my right hand side , i am currently on Zomorph 10mg ( i take 2 10mg morning and night ) these are slow release tablets , but even taking these i am still in a lot of Pain , Previous Pain relief - Physio, steroid injections , tramadoll & butec Patches & accupuncture

Does 10mg Zomorph take a few days to work? Severe bladder pain after biopsy and very large Suprapubic Catheter replaced small size ( 22 from 16)

I have had my oramorph stopped, I now take zomorph that help, Oramorph is taken for immediate release. Getting to the pain enabling people to get a quality of life back without pain. How do I get this medication prescribed again. I’ve an appointment with the pain clinic.

I am trying to get off morphine ( zomorph to be exact ) as it is causing so many side effects. I have been on it many years and it is taking a long time to reduce. Ive gone from 120mg to 30 my and have to admit I'm struggling now. My question is in two parts.

It’s not prescribed but I’m currently using 100mg zomorph, 600mg pregablin and 110mg methadone which is prescribed. I’m in a good head space mentally but want off zomorph so does anyone have advice if it’s ok to cut down to 50mg zomorph withdrawl wise will I be ok as I’m in the other things.

I've been on Butec patches for about 10 years and have recently been prescribed Zomorph. I also top these up with Co-codamol when needed. Has anybody any experience of Zomorph? It's not really doing it for me. I'm finding pain control really challenging. Btw, I am still on the patches as well.

I only took Zomorph etc for 6 days and stopped after vomiting!! During these 6 days i did not take my amiltriptyline at all, as i was so worried about taking morphine!! I am still constantly feeling sick 3 days later, restless legs, tearful, hot then cold!
