Zofran

Juggling zofran and 2 other anti nausea drugs. Any suggestions

pretty much the same as everyone above But I discovered how to control the extended Nausea Start Atavan and Zofran the day before your treatment and continue till you can get off gradually. For me it was 2 weeks. First treatment that I felt in control Good Luck

Zofran is helps with nausea a lot! WBC up to 229k Hemoglobin down 10.2 Platelets 178 Kidney function good. Praying that things keep going well!

He has tried zofran, promethazine, and the sancuso transdermal patch and none seem to be helping with nausea at this point. Thank you for any input.

I did have some zofran on hand but now I’m reading I can’t take that with my Zoloft?

I also take Zofran (Ondansetron) (4x 2 mg per day tablets) but so far no real relief. i wondered whether anyone on the site has used Zofran to treat Buprenorphine nausea and how long it took for it to be effective? My GP said it would be 2-3 days but someone else said two weeks?

I have read that I should ask for Zofran for anitinausea. Is that correct? Anything else I should be be talking to my doctor about? Thank you!

Is Zofran ok?

I am waiting for my doctor to advise on an alternative anti nausea drug and to get him to prescribe sublingual Zofran.

I also have some Zofran for nausea. I am so exhausted from all this anxiety and I just want to dleeep. I’ve been struggling to eat and all I’ve had today is a muffin. My therapist suggested I try to take a nap and rest since I’m overly exhausted.

I take trintellix every night for depression/anxiety and I take zofran occasionally for nausea. Is it okay for me to take my meds when I usually do? I usually take the trintellix at 8pm. I know that you’re not supposed to mix the meds with alcohol but I didn’t drink a ton

Also take zofran to combat nausea. Don’t know if zofran was contributing factor to bowel issue or not. Doctor says methotrexate does not cause it.

I am currently using Zofran anti nausea tablets. I am interested to know from fellow buprenorphine users what form their nausea takes and how they handle it.

I am about to trial Zofran and a smaller patch (5mcg/hr) but i would be interested to hear from others with this problem

Zofran helped a little bit, because the extra dizziness from the plane taking off and landing and hard banking, made me really nauseated. Almost all the people that helped with the wheelchair assistance were really nice and had great attitudes. Getting help through TSA was great.

I have stopped taking the ant nausea drug Zofran (which was not working) as it is a serotonin antagonist and there is a possibility that it is causing serotonin syndrome which means a lower serotonin in gut ie less serotonin metabolism which leads to nausea.

I am also on an extended Zofran course as advised by a member of the community (needs 1-2 weeks to be effective for RLS nausea?)

He got one for Zofran. It’s not like these guys don’t have enough obstacles to face. Rant over. I got him a medical MJ card but the doctor said he didn’t want him using it. He’s a pretty hardcore oncologist. Wants him to eat plant based as much as possible too.

Turns out the Zofran also made me dizzy and I almost passed out. So much for anti-nausea meds to make you feel better. What a horrible experience. My doctor took me off the drug yesterday and I’m starting to finally feel better. Any tips on how to get my appetite back?
