at around 2-3pm today I had a bit less than half of a margarita from some bar. My dad said it wasn’t that strong. I don’t really feel “drunk” at all. I’m a little nauseous but I think it’s nerves from starting a new job tomorrow. I take trintellix every night for depression/anxiety and I take zofran occasionally for nausea. Is it okay for me to take my meds when I usually do? I usually take the trintellix at 8pm. I know that you’re not supposed to mix the meds with alcohol but I didn’t drink a ton

If you're asking for opinions, take your meds. Even prescribed meds that are half or a quarter effective are still somewhat effective. Keep up the routine when you can and try not schedule or engage in this sort of fun the day before something big. I've done it; it doesn't help my anxiety. Just trust a stranger on this... I wasn't drinking margaritas and I was trying to drown more than just anxiety:/ Good luck, you'll be fine.
Drink plenty of water to help flush out any alcohol left. Take your medications as prescribed. Likely there wasn't much alcohol consumed in less than half a Margarita from an establishment, they usually don't put much in mixed drinks. Try to relax and have a good first day of work!
There are some meds you really can't drink on as they can make you sick. But this will be listed very clearly on the instructions.
A doctor told me its fine to drink on most meds and the only reason they say not to is because you tend to use the toilet more frequently and flush it out of your system quicker. I would check your leaflet or look online.
hi honeyI think that you will be okay to take your medication tonight because enough time has passed that the margarita shouldn't affect it at all a drink stays in your system and gives you effects and you have to wait at least an hour and a half to two hours for the effects to be gone completely. Good luck with your job tomorrow let us know how it goes you're going to do great don't worry so much. Wishing you peace and well-being.
Ask your doctor to be sure.
