Flare up
Hi, I havnt posted for a while as been ok but this week I'm not well and only assume it's a hashi flare up. I've had a breakdown 2 weeks ago with just everything getting on top of me family problems and to be honest my thyroid and hashi is a major factor. The doctor back in August put me down to 75mcg

Magnesium dose
I have had Epsom salts in my bath the last couple of days instead of Radox bath salts. They have helped ease the pain in my back and knee. Does anyone else here think a magnesium supplement would be good for me to take? Any suppliers you can recommend would be great. Thanks in advance

ET today - our final one
Hi All Well we’re back in Prague for our last ever try. Have made minor changes to this cycle (been taking inofolac, ferrous sulphate and have been having acupuncture). We asked the doctor yesterday about killer cells yesterday as a possibility for failures so going to give prednisone a whirl as of

Help with interpreting results please
I’ve been suffering from very heavy periods since puberty and more recently after the birth of my youngest child. I had a mirena coil fitted and had some relief but that came with its own problems. I had the coil removed a year ago and the heavy periods returned. I had been feeling terrible fatigue for

Confused about blood test results
Hi all, I’m really confused about my latest blood test results. Firstly, here’s a bit of background (excuse the repeat from a post I did a month or so ago). I've never been diagnosed with a thyroid condition but I posted on this site early last year as I believed I did have a sluggish thyroid, I had

Zinc
Since being diagnosed with macular degeneration recently I have been taking a supplement containing lutein. It also contains zinc. I seem to remember hearing/seeing something about zinc being contraindicated for taking when using predisolone for pmr. I have pmrgca, into third year, down, at second attempt

I have been summoned to see the local Endo at Addenbrooke's as I take T3!!!
Right - tomorrow is the day - I was summoned to see the NHS Endo back early summer and the appointment is tomorrow. Funny isn't it that they have never wanted to see me before and were happy for my friendly BUPA Endo to look after me and move to prescribe T3. So in anticipation of an argument - suggested

Looking for some help and advise ( Hashimoto's )
Hi all! I would like to share my story to see if you could shed some light. I’ll try to be as brief as possible! I’m 38 and I've been suffering from Hashimoto's for 15 years and half of them I was on a wrong medication / not well diagnosed. 2 years ago, I found a good medical herbalist that helped me
